TERMS AND CONDITIONS
A duly completed “rental agreement” is required within 24 hours to retain your reservation. The rental deposit (50% of the rental fee) is due at the reception. The review and acceptance of the Safa Homes Holiday Rental Terms and Conditions, which form an integral part of this Rental Agreement, are mandatory for confirmation to be issued.
Rates are per night, per week or per month as indicated. Unless otherwise specified, check-in time is after 16:00 and check-out time is 10:00 on the day of departure. Most of the listed rates are for a specified number of people (4 for 2 rooms, 6 for 3 rooms), additional guests are subject to additional charges per person per day. Fees vary and are subject to change without notice. All properties represented by Safa Homes are fully equipped with linens, dishes, utensils and a first stock of soap and paper. Other amenities vary by property.
CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT TIME
Check-in is at 16:00 | Check-out is at 10:00.
Unless otherwise agreed with the agent, the time of departure at 10:00 am is crucial for the cleaning contractor to perform household chores. Therefore, please note that unauthorized late departures will be subject to a charge of € 150.00 in case the contractor’s cleaning crew can not enter the holiday rental premises.
ADDITIONAL FEES (NOT included in the price):
Rates do NOT include daily maid service (unless otherwise stated), tips, car rental, food, alcoholic beverages, clothing, personal effects, excessive cleaning at departure (for example, padding or carpet shampoo, etc.).
RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENTS:
Payment of 50% of the applicable Rental Deposit together with a completed Client Reservation Request must be received and approved by the Reservations Department prior to confirmation being issued. No grace period will be applied. The final payment, consisting of the remaining balance, must be received at least thirty (30) days before the client’s arrival (or immediately if reserved less than thirty (30) days before the client’s arrival). If the final payments are not made in time, the reservation will be subject to an automatic cancellation.
The property must be in the same state at check-out as during check-in. Normal wear excepted. The owner or his agents may enter the property at reasonable times for repairs or housekeeping. Guest can cook in areas specially designated for cooking. Customers must immediately inform the owner or agent of the fire or other property damage. Guest is responsible for all acts of the family, guests, employees or other guests invited on the property. Guest can not sublet or assign this rental agreement. It is the customer’s responsibility to return all keys and door openers or garage door openers upon departure. Guests must comply with the rules of the home owner, property manager, condominium association and / or booking agent as provided to the guest. Guests must not bring pets to the property unless Safa Homes has accepted it (the pet policy varies by establishment, see Pet Addendum below) . Guest does not smoke
inside. No party or event of any kind will be permitted without prior consent. Additional fees may apply. No catering service or outside music is allowed without prior consent, additional fees may apply Guests may not allow the use of the pool or hot tub by unattended children or other guests and must guard the barriers closed.
All properties require a security deposit to protect against any damage caused to and / or loss of property objects and to ensure the payment of items charged to the guest account. The deposit will be held in the Safa Homes Trust account and will be returned, net of deductions, no later than 15 calendar days after termination of the contract (usually on the Friday after departure). We must provide you with a written statement at that time explaining any deductions. Deductions may be made for the following reasons: repair or replace anything that is damaged or missing; pay all amounts due; to replace all keys; additional cleaning charges or to clean excessive soiling (stained carpets, furniture, walls, appliances, etc.) and put the appliance and the objects it contains in the state you have moved in. If your deposit is not sufficient to cover all damages and costs, you must pay the additional amount, and you authorize us to debit the credit card provided.
CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS:
If canceled 90 days or more prior to arrival, all payments made by the guest to the manager are 95% refundable.
In case of cancellation between 90 and 30 days before the arrival date, any payment made by the guest to the manager will not be refundable.
